This 30's west Persian well-woven village carpet, shows the characteristic "American Sarouk" pattern of floating, detached floral sprays on a red ground. Cream, straw, teal and blue accents. Navy border densely filled with flowers, palmettesand vinery. Leathery, robust handle. Good condition.
