Description

An attractive example of interwar production in the capital, this doubly waisted, cream field scatter shows a rust medallion with internal palmettes around an oval rosette centre. The field presents a two-level strapwork arabesquerie, within navy half-pendant corners. Rust red border with palmettes and open escutcheons. Fine weave; short and upright, resilient pile; on cotton. Good condition.
