From a corner of the NW Persian Heriz triangle, this town and surrounding villages specialises in wool foundation, robustly woven runner (kenares) with important camel tan to brown tones. Very few scatters, gallery carpets and even fewer room sizes. Multiple cartouche field with medallions; geometric drawing. Usually ivory main border. Solid handle.
