Description

This very attractive west Persian village Kellegi (long rug) is well-woven on cotton, and shows an abrashed straw-eggshell and golden beige micro-lattice field supporting a small ragged hexagonal medallion and stepped, ragged pendants, with six bird-topped small flowers at the sides and ends. Red surging claw corners. Navy border with reversing turtle palmettes. Good condition.
