This unusual early 20th century central Persian town scatter shows a rusty salmon field very closely covered with a four by nine array of tightly coiled spiral arabesques, accented by cloud bands, palmettes and florets. Navy border with escutcheon palmettes an forked, scrolling arabesques. Pale blue minors with rosettes, palmettes and a vinery meander. Finely woven on cotton, good condition, velvety pile texture.
