Antique Afshar Rug 5'0'' x 6'4''. Now this is a true SE Persian antique tribal Afshar scatter with an ecru field displaying a lightly latticed one way half-drop, offset repeating cypress and floral pattern, within a coral rose border including botehs. Sumak stitch decorated extra end panels in the Afshar manner. Wool warp, leathery handle. Good condition. Irregularities in shape caused by a ground, as opposed to vertical, loom.
