Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of centerfire rifle ammunition distributed by Interarms of Alexandria, Virginia. The cartridges are comprised of brass cases paired with silver-colored round-nose bullets, a traditional configuration for the 6.5 Mannlicher caliber. The ammunition is contained within two blue cardboard boxes, each designed to hold 50 cartridges. Verbatim markings on the packaging include interarms alexandria, virginia in lowercase white text, 50 cartridges, and SMALL ARMS AMMUNITION. The top of the boxes feature a red ink stamp reading CAL. 6.5 MANLICHER. Additional printed text includes the warning KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN and a vintage price sticker remains affixed to one box reading DEAL PRICE 10.00. The cartridges appear to be commercially loaded for distribution during the mid-to-late 20th century.
Condition
The blue cardboard boxes exhibit significant wear characterized by frayed corners, edge tears, and surface abrasions consistent with long-term storage. Old adhesive tape and a vintage price sticker are present on the exterior. The ammunition appears to be in good condition with minor patination visible on some brass cases, though no heavy oxidation or structural damage was observed. The silver-colored projectile tips are clean. This ammunition is sold as-is and we have not function-tested these rounds.
