Pseudo-Gefaess mit Frauenfigur. Canosa, 3. Jh. v. Chr. H 30cm, B 8,5cm. Aus beigem Ton mit Resten von weisser Engobe und Bemalung in hell- und dunkelrosa, violett, gruen und braun. Rueckwaertig ein Brennloch. Matrizengeformt. Weibliche, stehende Figur mit Chiton und Himation, das ueber den Koerper und um die Arme geschlungen ist. Der rechte Arm ist vor den Koerper gelegt und hebt den Mantel an, die Linke ist in die Huefte gestemmt und haelt eine Girlande. Auf dem Kopf sitzt ein Efeukranz. Dahinter ein gerippter Bandhenkel. Auf dem Gewand Farbreste in hell- und dunkelrosa, violett und gruen, im Haar braune Farbe. Sehr gut erhaltene Farbpigmente! Mit Kopie des Zertifikats der Galerie Borowski! Reste von Sinter, intakt. Pseudo-vessel with a female figure, H 30cm, W 8.5cm, of beige terracotta with traces of white engobe and painting in light and dark rosa, violet, green and brown. A burn hole on the reverse. Moulded. A female figure standing, wearing a chiton and a himation draped over her body and around her arms. The right arm is placed in front of the body and lifts the cloak; the left arm is placed on the hip and holds a garland. A wreath of ivy rests on the head. Behind it is a ribbed ribbon handle. On the garment are traces of paint in light and dark pink, violet and green; brown paint is present in the hair. The colour pigments are very well preserved! Canosa, 3rd century BC.
