Beautiful original design of the 12 Days of Christmas on individual embroidered panels set into handmade black walnut trifold frame.
Each panel depicts a different gift from the Christmas carol from original designs by Marian Campbell Phillips. All hand-embroidered on linen between 1967-68. Black walnut frame designed and made by her son in 1968. Three panels fold in either direction on 2-way hinges.
Width: about 97 inches (fully extended)
Height: about 81 inches
Depth: about 3/4 inch
Each frame section has hooks on back that allow screen to be attached to wall for stability.
Six points of floor contact have plastic button feet to protect flooring and bottom of frame.
Each embroidered panel can be removed from frame for cleaning. Each panel is framed in a medium sage green linen, with same material backing. Each panel was sewn in place over slim Masonite backer board.
Screen has remained in same family for 4 generations. Seven Swans panel shows some minor water staining.
