An antique English Victorian period shoe care set from the 19th century, with four brushes and original leather case. Created in England during the reign of Queen Victoria, this shoe care set features an oval leather case measuring 5.25"W x 2.8"D x 3.25"H, opening thanks to a leather strap to reveal two brushes with yellow varnished back. This pair of brushes measures 2.5"D x 1.75"H x 4.75"W. Two additional smaller sized brushes measuring 2.25"W x 2"H x 3.75"D, with black hair are set inside a wooden frame accented with brass nailheads. The ensemble is in good condition with traces of aging expected to be seen on such pieces. With their small proportions and decorative presence, this English Victorian period shoe care set from the 19th century will make for a handsome addition to any desk top or side table.
