Original M40 Luftwaffe single decal German Helmet from WWII. 1243 stamped at the rear interior and manufacturers stamping SE64 on left side. The leather chinstrap is marked but due to the dried and cracked surface its hard to decipher. It appears to show 'WS' and 'S Halle a'
