3pc Kevin Francis Face Pots, Including Prototype

Description

A collection of three hand-painted glazed ceramic lidded trinket boxes, known as Face Pots, produced by Kevin Francis. Each box features a character head as a lid and a coordinating torso as the base, accented with gold luster. The set includes a Santa Claus figure in a green suit, inscribed on the interior Merry Christmas Crackpots and backstamped on the base FACE POTS, KEVIN FRANCIS, and 2001 Charter Guild. A Christmas Angel figure is depicted holding a harp with an interior inscription reading Christmas Angel Everytime the bell rings. The base of the angel contains a standard maker mark along with handwritten black ink notations identifying it as a PROTOTYPE and COLOUR TRIAL, marked NOT TO BE SOLD. The third figure is Miss Chrissy Claus, wearing a black and gold dress with an interior inscription reading Miss Chrissy Claus I'm Good. The base for this figure is stamped FACE POTS, KEVIN FRANCIS, and Guild 2003.
