Title: Oil painting Still life with lemons Pereta Vyacheslav Description: NoTep 154The oil painting on hardboard titled "Still life with Lemons" captures the timeless elegance and quiet richness of a traditional still life composition, drawing the viewer into a world of texture, color, and natural beauty. At the heart of the painting is a woven basket brimming with ripe, golden lemons, their luminous skins glowing under a soft, diffused light. Each lemon is carefully rendered with subtle variations in tone-some leaning into warm amber hues, others veiled in cooler yellows-enhancing the impression of depth, ripeness, and individuality. The artist's brushwork is confident and meticulous, capturing the waxy texture of the lemon peel with strokes that are both precise and expressive. Light glints off their curved forms in perfect highlights, suggesting freshness and juiciness, while a halved lemon in the foreground offers a glimpse of the fruit's vibrant, segmented interior. The contrast between the smooth outer surface and the intricate, juicy pulp inside is both visually striking and sensorially evocative. Resting against a dark, rich background, the lemons emerge with clarity and focus. This chiaroscuro technique-where dramatic lighting heightens the contrast between light and shadow-creates a sense of three-dimensional realism and gives the painting a classical quality reminiscent of the Old Masters. The choice of a deep, almost black backdrop not only intensifies the yellows and greens of the composition but also evokes a mood of intimacy and stillness. Scattered leaves and branches add a rustic touch and a hint of wildness, suggesting that these lemons were freshly picked. Their deep green tones provide a harmonious counterbalance to the warm colors of the fruit, while their curling shapes introduce gentle movement into the otherwise stable arrangement. The rough texture of the table beneath, rendered with earthy browns and touches of red, grounds the scene and provides a tactile foundation for the vibrant display above.*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING **** TITLE: "Still life with lemons"* ARTISTS: Pereta Vyacheslav* SIZE: 20x25 cm/7.87x9.84 inches'* MEDIUM: oil, hardboard* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this productAbout the artist: I, Pereta Vyacheslav Nikolaevich, was born on March 30, 1977 in the city of Dubno, Rivne region. From early childhood I spent many hours drawing, which prompted my parents to enroll me in an art school.Over the years, my passion grew into an internal need, and I began to think about the career of an artist. The basics of art education were given to me by my father, then there were preparatory courses at the Academy and in 2002 I entered the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture at the Faculty of Painting.I studied with great enthusiasm, took an active part in academic exhibitions and competitions, and was awarded. From the third year of study, I was enrolled in the workshop of Professor Gurin V.I. , my teachers were Golembievskaya T. and Zorko A. I defended my bachelor's degree with the painting "Spring", which was subsequently acquired by the Museum of Modern Art.I graduated from NAOMA in 2008 and actively engaged in creative activities. In 2011-2012. performed four historical paintings for the Ministry of Culture of Macedonia. Held a number of personal and collective exhibitions, including in Cherkasy and Simferopol art museums.
