Vintage Sterling Mixed Gem Necklace, 20", 1980's-1990's. The pendant is marked sterling and has a wide swing bail with a hinged top and nine stones in the bottom of the pendant: four pear-shaped peridot; a center square amethyst; two tourmaline or garnet; and, two round citine. Below the bail and above the hinge is a dark blue stone possibly tanzanite. They are all bezel-set. The pendant is appx. 1.75" long and 3/4" wide. The bottom of the pendant is a square-ish shape set on a point. It is marked .925 and tests as .925 with a weight of papx. 7.31 gr. The pendant is older at 1980's-1990's. The 2mm round brown cord is modern and is a total of 20" with the last two inches being an extender chain to adjust down to 18" if you wish to wear it shorter. Silver tone chain at the end with a lobster clasp. Light oxidation, very good condition. It is not signed by the maker. (W51124.1X8 SS14003 J Ld 5/30/24).
