Cast brass passage knob and plate from the Biltmore hotel, Los Angeles, c. 1923...plate is 8.5" x 1.75"...the Biltmore hosted the early Oscars...some interesting American history here...seems like the plate should go the other way, but then the keyhole woold be upside down... hey, that's Hollywood...
