Description
This item is a hand-cranked butter churn, designed in the style of early 20th-century glass jar churns. The assembly consists of a clear rectangular glass jar with rounded corners and a screw-on cast iron lid. The top mechanism features a bevel gear drive system operated by a side-mounted crank with a turned wooden handle. A central metal shaft extends from the gear mechanism into the jar, holding a set of four wooden paddles for churning. A small white rectangular sticker is located on the underside of the glass jar with the printed text MADE IN INDIA. No other embossed markings, manufacturer names, or patent dates are visible on the metal or glass components.
