This hand-blown art glass vase features a flared corset or hourglass silhouette. The body is decorated using a spatter glass technique, incorporating internal mottled frit in shades of cobalt blue, emerald green, and pale lavender. A decorative translucent ruby red glass trail is applied in a multi-turn spiral coil around the narrowest part of the waist. The vessel features a flat-polished top rim and a ground and polished pontil mark on the base. While unsigned, this specific combination of multicolored spatter and applied red threading is strongly associated with late 20th-century Bohemian glass production, frequently attributed to Egermann.
