The head of the page is titled Life mottos from great contemporary painters in the hand of a collector, below which Miro has written his defining sentence: ´Travailler, toujours travailler et penser dans la poesie´ (Translation: ´Work, always work, and think in poetry´), adding his signature and the date beneath.
