CHATWIN BRUCE: (1940-1989) English travel writer, novelist and journalist. A rare A.L.S., Bruce Chatwin, one page, 8vo, Ipsden, Oxford, 10th February 1985, to Myrian Librach. Chatwin expresses his thanks for being invited to attend a D. H. Lawrence celebration, however remarks ´Unfortunately, I have to go and teach (for the first time in my life) in America during the whole of October, so I won´t be able to attend´. Accompanied by the original envelope hand addressed by Chatwin to his correspondent at Art Actuel in Nancy, France. EX
