EDISON THOMAS: (1847-1931) American inventor of the phonograph and light bulb among many other items. A good vintage signed sepia 8 x 10 photograph of Edison standing in a full-length profile pose wearing an overcoat, hat and scarf, alongside a train carriage. A black Pullman porter can be seen standing alongside in his uniform and cap, with a newspaper vendor partially visible at his side. Signed (´Thos A Edison´) by Edison with an example of his umbrella signature in black ink to a lighter area at the base of the image.
