An excellent vintage signed 7.5 x 9.5 photograph by both the Duke and Duchess of Windsor individually, the image depicting the couple seated together outdoors in full-length poses on a stone garden bench. Photograph by Fred Jones of Hot Springs, Virginia, and bearing his credit stamp and date, 7th November 1943, to the verso. Signed (´Edward´) by the Duke and (´Wallis Windsor´) by the Duchess, each in bold fountain pen inks to lighter areas at the base of the image. The Duke of Windsor has also added the date, 1943, in his hand, and further added an inscription (´Sor Sam Snead´) to the verso (the surname covered by a white see-through tape). An appealing signed image of the Duke and Duchess, and with an interesting association. VG
