This BEAUTIFUL cotton blue and white quilt is all hand appliqued and hand quilted, with a swag border and wonderful Hawaiian pineapple design. The quilt consists of a 30's quilt top finished later, likely in the 1950's or 1960's.
It measures 78" X 100" and is excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear. The quilt feels strong and sturdy overall.
There is hand quilting around and within the applique and in grid, curlicue, fleur-de-lis, and other designs in the background, all at 7-8 stitches to the inch.
The back is a festive cotton print, the hand stitched binding is solid blue, and the batting is thin.
The WONDERFUL DESIGN, NICE BLUE, and GREAT CONDITION make this vintage beauty stand out!
