Description
This lot features two pieces of vintage American enamelware produced by Savory, originally a brand of the Republic Metalware Co. of Buffalo, New York. The set includes one large oval roasting pan with a high-domed lid and one round covered pot. Both vessels are constructed from pressed sheet metal finished with a light blue-gray mottled vitreous enamel, commonly known as graniteware, with dark trim along the rims and handles. The maker name SAVORY is clearly embossed on the exterior side of the roasting pan base and on the top of the round pot lid. The oval roaster is designed with a deep base, dual side handles, and a single loop handle on the lid. The round pot features a deep cylindrical body and a lid with a single central loop handle. Measurements: Oval Roaster: Large-capacity Round Pot: Medium-sized.
