Pair Moon & Star Pattern Amber Glass Canisters

Description

This lot consists of two graduated amber pressed glass canisters in the Moon and Star pattern, attributed to the L.E. Smith Glass Company. The pattern features large circular indentations containing multi-pointed star motifs, separated by vertical columns and rows of beading. The glass is a deep honey-amber color. The pair includes one tall cylindrical vessel and one shorter cylindrical vessel. Both pieces feature ground glass frosted rims designed to accommodate stopper-style lids. One matching Moon and Star pattern lid with a frosted ground glass base is included. A small raised rectangular mark is present on the interior base of the taller canister, featuring the letter S and a second character that is not clearly legible.
