Condition Report:

Unlined. The canvas tension is loose to the touch. Craquelure and light surface dirt with rubbing to the edges. Both paintings have a milky residue/ appearance in areas, please see additional condition images. Examined under UV light the still life with the candelabra has some small scattered spots of retouching on and around the bottles. The small brown jug in the upper right quarter of the other painting fluoresces green and the varnish appears rubbed in this area. The varnish is patchy and uneven and may conceal further restoration to both works.
