8 pc Hall Superior Autumn Leaf Ceramic Kitchenware Items

Description

This collection of ceramic kitchenware features the Autumn Leaf pattern, manufactured by the Hall China Company for the Jewel Tea Company. The set consists of six custard cups in the Radiance shape and a pair of bell-shaped salt and pepper shakers. Each piece is constructed from glazed ceramic and decorated with a transfer-printed motif of stylized leaves and flowers in a palette of orange, yellow, and brown. The design is finished with hand-applied gold-tone trim along the rims of the bowls and the scalloped petal bases of the shakers. The custard cups feature a round, handleless form with a tapered body and an unglazed foot ring. The bases of the bowls bear a gold backstamp that includes the text Halls Superior and Quality Kitchenware, surrounding a circular seal for the Mary Dunbar Jewel Homemakers Institute.
