Description
This original artwork painted in 2024 features textural variances and multiple pigment layers and paper collage from the pages of an antique book. The painting is stretched on 1.5" deep stretcher bars and set inside a solid wood float frame with a weathered finish. The painting is signed on back and ships ready to hang with a simple nail or screw.
The unifying character of all my artworks across all collections is an experiential exploration of color, luminosity/light, and juxtapositions. My colorfield artworks reflect my purest, unencumbered celebration of the color experience, especially in the ways materiality impacts the color experience. These artworks are always mixed media and best experienced in person.

Stacey Warnix is an American lyrical abstraction painter who uses gestural methods to create large-scale paintings, layering mixed media pigments and collage over raw textiles.
