This charming hardwood desk antique military campaign chest of drawers / secretaire desk with huge oversize brass handles is in the style of Charlotte Horstmann and crafted in Hong Kong. Campaign furniture has been highly coveted for over 140 years. The secretaire desk is hidden inside the top drawer and pulls out. All the brass handles and fittings are intact and operational.
The chest comes in two peices; the upper part is the desk and two small drawers, the lower chest has two full drawers. The inside of the desk has the four original drawers, shelving and hardware in very good condition. Solid wood grain throughout the drawers, front and top of the chest.
