A striking example of early 20th-century oversize Chinese Art Deco rug in an allover floral pattern. Hand-knotted with fine wool, the rug features a rich French blue field brought to life by an allover arrangement of floral bouquets in soft pink, golden yellow, leafy green, sky blue, and earthy brown tones.

Framing the composition is a beautiful red-pink border, also adorned with floral and botanical motifs, which contrasts gracefully with the field while tying the color palette together. The result is a sophisticated fusion of traditional Chinese symbolism with the clean lines and chromatic exuberance of Art Deco design.
