Description
This piece has been lovingly stored away for decades and now is ready for a new life. Never have I seen such delicate embroidery with tiny needlepoint details. This artwork is looking for a forever home. I have been carrying it around the world for decades. It has 2 tiny discrepancies ( a missing stitch in 2 places), which are so minor as shown. Otherwise this piece is perfect. The threads used to create this piece are wool and silk. I was lucky to acquire this tiger while living in France. I don't have the documentation, but this wall art will only grow in value. This type of exquisitely handcrafted work will soon be obsolete. It's difficult enough to paint with a brush, imagine using one single thread for each stroke. The measurement is of the artwork including the frame. The actual embroidery is 21 x 17.5
