Mid-19th century Victorian/Empire Period China/"Jackson Press” Veneered Cupboard. Two glass doors over two lower blind doors, spool turnings, later replaced glass drawer pulls, ball feet, and veneered panels. Cherry with mahogany veneer, secondary yellow pine and oak. Mid-Atlantic or possibly Tennessee. Missing trim moulding, areas of missing and warped veneer, several rat holes to backboards, drawer front and drawer backs, panel separation with several splits to rails and side panels, cracked window, damaged and loose back foot, wood strip added to backboard, and areas of paint splatter and overall wear. Measures 48.25 inches wide x 20 x 79.5 inches tall.
