A Very Nice Set of 4 Paint Decorated Plank Seat Chairs, Pennsylvania, Circa 1850's

Signed in pencil on the bottom. Difficult to read, but there is a name, and a place. The place is "Moss Hill, PA". Moss Hill, from what I can find, Moss Hill is a place in the Huntingdon Valley of Montgomery & Bucks county.

Brown paint, with leaf and stylised "acorn"decorations. Original as found condition. Original paint, untouched surface.

Paint decoration over poplar and maple woods.

Size: 15" wide, 14" deep, 32 1/2" tall, 17" seat height

Condition: Great original surface, and super nice patina. Lots of good wear in the right spots. Wear and use marks are consistent with age and use. Paint loss from wear and use/age.
