Mid 20th Century Vintage Hitchcock "Faithful" Rocker

Description

Offered is an Hitchcock "Faithful" rocker in the harvest finish as shown in Hitchcock's 1970's catalog. The chair is made of solid maple. It features the signature work of the Hitchcock company in its hand turned stiles and stenciling. The splat has lovely cornucopias stenciled across it and the stiles, arms, seat, and stretchers all have stenciled embellishments. With its curved back it is very comfortable to sit in. The maker's mark is stenciled across the back. As with most pieces of preowned furniture it does show some slight wear due to use and age. Please look carefully at the pictures as they make up an important part of the description. Questions are always welcome.
