1950s Murano "Barovier & Toso" Hand Blown Glass Adventurine Gold Flex Paperweight

Description

What a beautiful sight this Murano paperweight beholds. It's colors are truly amazing. The 24k gold dust flecks swirls in the green and amber is a specific techinique called "Cordonato Oro" (gold dust stripe). This technique involves encasing gold leaf or gold dust flecks with a swirling pattern in glass. It stands at 3 inches high and is 2.5 inches wide and deep. It was made in the 1950's. I personally used this as a paperweight for many years, however I am remodeling my parlor and would like a change. I cannot honestly tell you where I purchased this from as it has been too many years ago. I sure hope whomever purchases it enjoys it as much as I have.
