1940's Limoges, France Divided Porcelain Dish Trimeed in 24k Gold

Description

This Limoges divided porcelain nut or candy dish from France featuring hand painted bird motifs in each of the 4 sections and trimmed in 24k gold. It is quite stunning as there appears to be no wear on this dish. It was made in the 1940's and stands at 2.5 inches talls, 8.5 inches long and is 7.75 inches wide. It is marked on the bottom with two markings; one with Limoges and the other I am unable to read as it is too small. I came across this beautiful dish in the Treasure Valley, ID.
