Such a picturesque original painting. This original signed oil painting on hardboard is by highly collectible artist Stephen Smalzel (American). He is best known for his paintings of Colorado landscapes often done while he hikes 14-ers in the Rocky Mountains. It depicts an image of the 'Rocky Mountains,' including greenery and a hiking path with snow capped mountains in the background. Signed in the bottom right corner 'Smalzel 183.' It is nicely framed with a gilt gold wood frame and linen matte. This is an impressive original piece of art fit for any collector!
