This lot consists of three miniature tools from the Pocketools Collector's Series manufactured by Louis Marx and Co., Inc. dating to the 1960s. The items are constructed from die-cast metal and are housed in their original, unopened retail blister packs. Each tool is mounted on a cardstock backing featuring a wood-grain pattern and a blue side panel displaying tool schematic illustrations. The tools included are a Claw Hammer with a brown composite handle, a Combination Square, and a Micrometer. The micrometer specifically features the Marx name cast into its frame. Printed markings on the cards include POCKETOOLS T.M., TOOLS IN MINIATURE . . BY MARX, and the circular Marx Toys logo. The micrometer card includes the manufacturer's address at the bottom of the blue panel: LOUIS MARX and CO. INC. 200 FIFTH AVE., NEW YORK 10, N.Y. Original retail prices of 39 cents, 69 cents, and 89 cents are printed in the upper left corners of the respective cards.
