This large, hand-formed ceramic floor vase features a tall, elongated ovoid body with a dark brown to black matte finish, accented by reddish-brown mottling and a textured surface. The shoulder is decorated with a wide band of incised geometric patterns, consisting of alternating square panels containing stylized eight-petaled sunbursts and spiral motifs. The vessel has a flared rim with a small, pinched pouring spout. A thick, natural-fiber rope handle is lashed around the neck with brown cord and threaded through a circular aperture in the side of the body. While visually consistent with the mid-century designs of Arthur Andersson for Wallakra, no maker's marks are visible on the piece.
