Leon Danchin (French, 1887-1938), Two Pointers Hunting, color etching on paper depicting two pointer hunting dogs standing alert in an open field. Danchin is celebrated for his detailed portrayals of sporting dogs, hunting scenes, and field sports, making his works highly sought after among collectors of canine art and sporting art. This composition exemplifies the artists mastery in capturing the attentiveness and natural posture of hunting dogs in the field. Pencil signed lower left within the margin and pencil numbered 219/500 lower right. Presented under glass in a decorative wood frame. Approximate sight size measures 21" x 29". Provenance: Property from a Boca Raton, Florida estate.

Dimensions: 28 X 36 X 1 in.

Condition: Good overall vintage condition with typical age-related toning and surface wear. The frame exhibits storage wear along the edges and corners. Artwork not examined outside of frame.
