PINE CANDLE LANTERN WITH PULL-UP FEATURE, retains original natural finish, square-form wooden frame, flat top with a large vent hole, top fitted with a wrought-iron bail handle and with original wooden pull rod for candle holder, interior fitted with a wooden lozenge-form frame fitted in corner to corner and having two slide rods on each end, medial fitted with a sheet-iron candlestick holder, each side fitted with a rectangular-form colorless glass pane; peg and nail construction. 19th century. 9 1/4" HOA to top of pull rod, 4 3/4" SQ.
