Southern yellow pine corner cupboard, 19th century, of tall two-part country form with a bold projecting molded cornice above an upper case fitted with two paneled cupboard doors opening to shaped corner shelves. The lower case is fitted with a second pair of paneled cupboard doors opening to additional corner storage, above a shaped scalloped lower skirt and short integral feet. The cupboard is constructed for corner placement, with canted rear board construction, vertical plank backboards, simple frame-and-panel doors, iron hinges, and dark metal latch hardware. 83.5 in.
