He graduated with a Higher National Diploma in 2018 from Yaba College of Technology in Yaba, Lagos, after receiving his National Diploma (ND) from The Polytechnic of Ibadan. A visual artist whose paintings are based on the synergy of various materials as a tool for promoting and inspiring optimism and inner harmony in the mind of the viewer. He has taken part in art shows which include the Onedraw gallery workshop in 2017, and the plein-air painting of Yinka Shonibare's wind sculpture in 2017. Among the exhibitions is the Affordable Art Fair, Mydrim Gallery 2017, the LEGACY exhibition by universal studios of Art Mydrim gallery 2021, and the virtual exhibition with vivid gallery 2021 among others. Artist Statement: Gbelekale Azeez explores figurative with landscape art symbolizing the intrinsic connection that exists in space and time to promote and inspires optimism and harmony. His landscape compositions are inspired by nature's changing moods and the sense of mystery produced by varying colors and shapes. His daily activities, environment, dreams, and spirituality also serve as sources of inspiration for him. His creative process is centered on expressing the connection between representation and abstraction, and he works in a variety of media including acrylic, oil, charcoal, and watercolor.
