70 x 88 This handmade scrap quilt is constructed from a grid of square blocks, with each block featuring an irregular crazy quilt arrangement of various fabric remnants. The top surface consists of a diverse range of printed and solid-color fabrics, including cotton and synthetic blends with floral, gingham, striped, polka dot, and checked patterns. The layers are secured by hand-tied red yarn at the corner junctions of the internal blocks. The reverse side features a single continuous piece of printed cotton fabric with a small-scale floral calico design in shades of burnt orange, chocolate brown, and olive green against a cream ground. The edges are finished with a turnover binding of the backing material.
