This is a vintage handmade patchwork quilt top featuring a vernacular design. The layout consists of large, solid mint-green squares alternating with four-patch blocks. These smaller blocks are composed of various scrap fabrics, including solid-colored cotton or cotton-blend pieces in shades of orange, pink, and yellow, alongside several colors of gingham in blue, tan, and navy. Some blocks also feature small-scale floral calico prints. The construction is machine-stitched. This item is an unfinished quilt top and does not include batting, backing, or binding. The reverse side shows raw seam allowances and the outer edges remain unfinished.
