Up for auction is a Walther P1 chambered in 9mm Luger. The Walther P1 is a post war variant of the famous P38 from WW2, the pistol was used by West Germany and Germany after the unification of Germany after the fall of the Berlin wall. It was used as a police pistol all the way up until 2004 when it was phased out. This pistol is in excellent shape with a 5 inch barrel with sharp reflective rifling. This pistol was manufactured in 1977 and was issued to the Bundeswehr evident by the BW marking on the frame . This pistol also features a West German belt, 3 mag pouches (dated 1994, 1984, & 1988), a P1 Holster, and 4 total P1 magazines. A complete rig from the period. A walking time capsule from the cold war and a must have for any historian.
