The assortment includes an early Victor Monarch Disk Talking Machine Record catalogue distributed by Sherman, Clay & Co. of San Francisco, California, an accompanying August 15th, 1902 "Bargain List" for seven-inch Berliner and Zonophone records, an October 1905 Victor Talking Machine Record Catalog, and a September 1907 Victor Record Catalogue fold-out, all proudly displaying the iconic "His Master's Voice" Nipper the dog trademark. These paper ephemera pieces offer a fascinating look into early West Coast audio distribution and the rapidly evolving repertoire of the acoustic recording era, featuring promotional text on the reverse for the Grand Prize won at the St. Louis Exposition. The items exhibit an authentic, aged patina appropriate for century-old paper, showing minor edge wear, light toning, negligible corner creasing, and minor staining on the 1905 catalog cover, though all text and graphics remain legible and structurally intact.
