A Ruby Meaders chicken sitting on a nest, dated 2003. This is an exceptionally rare form by Ruby, as only two examples of this design are known to have been made. Signed on the bottom, this piece is a wonderful and highly collectible example of Ruby’s work. It remains in mint condition aside from one very small area of breakage in the nest, which is minor and insignificant to the overall presentation.
