A trail followa the Arkansas River from Van Buren through Kedron, Ft. Gibson,near Coyeta Mission, Rockepoke, Tuloy to Kansas. Other trails lead from Ft. Wayne through Talequah to Webber's Falls; along Neosho River near Saline to Albert's Store on to Sand Town or Big Spring; Seminole and Kickapoo Towns are the farthest outlying places named.
