This US 1882 Morgan silver dollar was struck at the Philadelphia Mint. The coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. It features the Morgan head obverse and the heraldic eagle reverse. No mint mark is present on the reverse, signifying production at the Philadelphia facility. The coin exhibits dark peripheral toning and numerous contact marks consistent with a circulated specimen.

Metal Composition: .900 silver, .100 copper. Very fine. The coin shows moderate wear on the high points of the hair and the eagle's breast feathers. Numerous contact marks and surface abrasions are present on both the obverse and reverse fields. Heavy dark toning is visible along the peripheries.
