12x8 This hand-blown decorative glass vase is attributed to the Blenko Glass Company, resembling model number 423. The vessel features a bulbous ovoid form that tapers to a narrow circular rim. The clear glass body has been treated with a heavy, intentional crackle or ice glass texture, a result of quenching the hot glass in water during the blowing process. The exterior is decorated with three applied, stylized floral prunts in translucent turquoise blue glass spaced around the midsection. Each flower is formed with multiple overlapping petals and a central indentation. The base is flat with a polished pontil mark in the center. There are no visible manufacturer marks, signatures, or labels on the piece.
